Day 1---FOOD BAGS, MASATEPE, ORPHANAGE

i AM SO EXCITED jOHN, Laura and I came with Antoinetta and Pastor Amos to get
supplies and to the internet cafe to put this on for ya'll.

Everyone says hello---we are taking lots of pictures and seeing so much.
After arriving at the airport--the weather feels like T'ville--muggy and hot--
and finding our 1 million pieces of luggage we were ready to head to the SHEO
farm. We jumped on the bus which is like a bluebird school bus with our luggage
filling the back.

We got to the farm and settled in ....there are dorms for us to stay in which are
nice and clean. The farm is beautiful. I'll upload pix later.

Then we counted out millions of little pills and got the meds ready for clinics.

We had spaghetti for supper , diet coke and cokes are plentiful....

This morning we had chapel---Gary Milton preached and Jeff Willis led the 7 choir members
that are here.

Then we made 1200 food bags to pass out...

More later I hope....

We love ya'll

Hug those cone boys for me.

Ben have fun in VA.

Hi Trelle, Praying you all are well today. Services were good yesterday..it was so nice to be back home and at church after our OR trip and 2 Sundays away. My heart has been focused the past few days on the possibility that you will run out of food/meds before you run out of people to feed/help. Last night I read a book with the following quote from J. Hudson Taylor, the English missionary to China: "What God has given us," Taylor had written, "is all we need; we require nothing more. It is not a question of large supplies--it is a question of the presence of the Lord." May God's presence be mighty in your camp, doing amazing things beyond what we can dream or imagine!
