THE BEGINNING---------MATTHEW 28.19-20

Months ago God started a work in David's heart and mine. God called
us all to go to the ends of the earth to tell everyone the good news--
that Jesus died and took our sins to the cross so that we might live forever with
Him in heaven.
David and I were very strongly convicted that while our lives and the lives
of our children and family went on as busy as ever, people were dying without
ever hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Did we care....do we care?
God gave us an awesome opportunity to go to Nicaragua on a medical
mission trip in November of 2006. He really opened our eyes and our
hearts to the fact that if we care we need to be sharing Jesus with
everybody we come into contact with. We saw children who had nothing,
people who had nothing and yet we were given the blessing of telling
them that Jesus loves them and there is hope.
We came home changed forever. After months of prayer as we tried to
decide what God would have us do next, God spoke to both David and me
at the Deacon's banquet at FBC in January. There was no doubt God
called us into the ministry. For months I had been saying God whatever
you want....now we had a direction. Our house has been for sell, our bags are packed and we are ready to follow God wherever He sends us
for whatever he wants us to do. .........
Anybody who knows me knows
that I wanted all the answers. Tell God your plans and listen to
him laugh. So we have waited............semi-patiently.

David has been filling pulpits as asked around the area since then. We met
recently with Brother Dan and Brother Jerry and have some definite BIG
ideas about our future. We promise to share them as the time gets closer.

Thank you God....we were all created to do good works that would stagger our
minds if we could see them before they ever happened.......
