HOLA,
sATURDAY WAS AWESOME!! God is so good!
During chapel in the little garden hut Jeff Brinson sang the Lord's prayer and
Frank preached. It was a wonderful start to our day.
After a breakfast of pancakes cooked by Julie and Claudia we loaded the bus---first with
food bags, then with tables and medicine suit cases. If you donated a suitcase for the team to
use thanks.
Clinic #1 was in a beautiful church El Tangue Baptist Church---a brick building--very nice for
Nicaragua. tile floors, nice bano.
Totally donations supported .....
Small line when we first arrived and then the crowds came ----we saw 424 patients,
1134 prescriptions, about 75 teeth pulled and yea!!!!!----11 salvations
Skip, David and Frank shared the gospel with them in a not so quiet area of the building.
Someone said if God was speaking to you in a still small voice you would not hear it.
Sheila and Bree gave out the dresses made by the WMU, the shoes, undies and
other toys and books that were donated.
Robin and Gina were awesome and Jimmy Clanton and Jeff Willis were there assistants for the
clinic---you have never watched a more awesome sight---they worked non stop without a break.
A very tired crew headed back to Sheo Farm. While we were gone the carpenter
put much needed shelves up for us to use. Supper was delicious---gumbo served
over rice--yummy!
We showered and then prepared for my favorite day---Sunday at the Farm and the
feeding of the children.
I can't wait to see "my girl" Escarla!!
